May 26
Abarth Fest 25
Building on the success of the 2024 event, Abarth Anniversario 75, we are delighted to announce Abarth Fest 25. Held once again at Mallory Park, this event will follow a similar format with a combination of track action for those who wish to test themselves and their cars out on the circuit, as well as a range of static displays and other attractions for those who are content simply to look, and watch, and talk to friends and fellow enthusiasts.
Organised by a joint team from Abarth Owners Club and Abarths on Track, this will be the largest event dedicated to the Abarth brand in the UK in 2025. We will have dedicated display areas for all Abarth Clubs. Note that any Abarth is considered a display car – there is no need to worry about whether your car is “show worthy” or not – if it is an Abarth, it is. New for 2025, we will be parking as many cars as possible in the centre of the circuit. Please be aware that as the only access to the infield is across the track, this will mean that you will need to have arrived before 9:30am, and you will only be able to move your car when the track is closed (lunchtime and at the close of proceedings). There will be outfield parking available as well, which will also include an area for those who wish to attend but who do not have an Abarth. A number of cars will be selected for special displays, details of which will be posted in due course.
As well as the displays of Club cars, there will be further interest provided by displays from our sponsors, as well as an expanded array of trade stands, from many organisations well known to the community. There will be a live stage, a running commentary, sensibly priced and high quality food and drink on offer and we will make a number of awards to individuals and clubs, with prizes to be presented during the afternoon. As a grand finale, at the end of the track session, everyone is invited to tour the circuit in a couple of parade laps. This was the spectacle that blew the minds of Abarth UK in 2024 and which was relayed back to Turin – so we need to do even better with more cars this year!
For those who want to take to the track, your track time will be from 09:30 to 12:00 noon, and in the afternoon from 13:30 til 4pm. To ensure you can complete the necessary formalities including driver briefing, drivers need to arrive no later than 8:30am on the day. Places are limited, as we want to ensure that those on track can go as fast as they want without fear of traffic getting in the way. Drivers who have purchased track time will be able to take passengers, and we know that many kindly offered a seat in their cars last year – giving a lot of attendees a real thrill. Anyone can take part on track. Drivers and passengers will need a racing helmet. Track places are keenly priced, offered at a discounted rate of £180.00 for the day, if booked before 31st March, after which time the cost will revert to £200.
Further interest will be provided by a display of Heritage Abarths, and these cars will take to the track for demo laps at the end of the morning track session and again after lunch. Do come and see them and learn something of the 76 year history of the brand.
Mallory Park have offered us the use of the site from 5pm the day before the event, and anyone who wishes to camp onsite is able to do at no additional cost. There is catering on site and toilet and shower facilities are modern and eminently usable. Anyone who wishes to set up the evening before the event is able to do so and we are planning to lay on some entertainment during the evening.
Admission Tickets are available now, and can be purchased by going to this site:
“Early Bird” pricing is on offer until 31st March, with entry tickets offered for just £10.00 per car and driver, with any passengers over the age of 16 costing just£10.00 each. From 1st April, the price increases to £15.00 for the car and driver and £10.00 for each adult passenger (over 16). Capacity is limited, and is on a “first come, first served” basis, so don’t miss out – book your slot(s) now!
One further note – as many of us found out in 2024, racing circuits can be cold places, and a lot of us did not bring enough in the way of warm clothing. Please prepare for all that the British weather can throw at us – which might mean factor 50 sun block or winter woollies (and you may need both!).
On behalf of the organising team, we look forward to seeing you at Mallory Park for the Abarth highlight of the year!
